Failures

  • The first bug that we still could not solve is background music. What we originally planned is to set different music for different scene, but somehow they all play the same. 
  • There is also a problem with the appearance of the energy ball. They are supposed to be destroyed after being collected. But when player return back to this scene, they appear again. 

Success

  • I learned to set countdown timer from youtube and managed to added it as our core obstacle.
  • We build the dialogue system and hide some instructive information in the text.
  • Most physical mechanisms operate successfully, including picking up and throwing objects.


Lessons Learned

  • We learned how to make games together on Unity Collaboration platform and under what circumstances will each other's updates not be overwritten.
  • I learned adding public variables can help other members to participate in modifying parameters.
  • I initially mastered the dialogue system


Future Development

  • What we originally planned was to make the girl stand up after collecting all energy balls at the end, so that it looks more shocking and touching. After learning how to animate the 3D characters, we want to make up this part.
